Obama Care is Bad History

I usually post a report from either memeorandum or my favorite paper, the New York Post, preceded usually with a snarky or pithy comments poking fun at somebody’s expense.

But, I’m not in the mood for that at all.

The Democrats with the help of the mainstream media are puffing their chests out and extolling the virtue of landmark legislation that took over a hundred years to come to pass.

It’s historic…

It’s historic…

It’s historic…

Yeah, that may be so, but it’s very BAD HISTORY!

It’s bad history when legislation is designed to change the character of a nation from self sufficiency to entitlement.

It’s bad history to legislate away liberty in favor of statism.

It’s bad history to legislate away dignity and encourage dependency on the state.

And Liberals had the fix already in over a long period of time as they controlled our school system and they made sure to step teaching America civics and history. So when they made their final move for socialized medicine, we have literally generations of Americans who don’t even know what communism or socialism means.

It was all part of the plan.

Keep’em ignorant and happy.

Sorry, but I don’t abide with this crap!

Liberals thrive on the ignorance of people.

However, many more Americans refuse to be ignorant, or stay ignorant. And although Democrats may have gotten the government controlled health care that they always wanted, many millions of Americans have become educated despite Liberals best efforts to always shield their true intentions.

Have you noticed haven’t mentioned Barack Obama?

The reason I haven’t is because he’s insignificant. He’s just the right package at the right time for Liberals. But, there’s not a dime’s worth of difference between him, or Jimmy Carter, Lyndon Johnson, or FDR.

He’s just a new bar of the same soap.

Wait until November…

America Dead at 233

America
July 4, 1776—March 21, 2010

America passed away on Sunday March 21, 2010 from complications of passing Health Care reform.

She was the glory of the entire world who for the first time in world history managed to defeat England, a superpower, for her independence.

In her very short time on earth America, through hard work, innovation and her exceptionalism grew to become the most powerful and the most generous nation in the world.
It’s the American character of hard work, initiative and free markets that set her apart.

But, America received bad news from the doctor and the diagnosis was the cancer of Liberalism. The disease grew slowly and eventually America’s character changed.

She lost her initiative and gradually the entitlement mentality that only wants somebody else to pay the freight took over. Liberals, who controlled the school system stopped teaching about America’s proud history and instead taught that America was to blame for all the worlds’ problems.

Then in 2008 while America was on life support, she elected Barack Obama who was a child of the Blame America first crowd and with his legislative pen stabbed America into becoming just another socialist democracy where initiative is punished through oppressive taxes and the do-nothings get more and more from mother government.

RIP America

She had a good run.

FACT CHECK: Premiums Would Rise Under Obama Plan

Is it too much to ask for integrity coming out of the Obama administration?

The arrogance of this president is so amazing to me. He thinks by the force of his personality that he can change the foundations upon which this country is built.
It’s not working Mr. President!

You’re lies and deception are being brought to likght faster than you can read them from your teleprompter.

Yahoo News reports:

Buyers, beware: President Barack Obama says his health care overhaul will lower premiums by double digits, but check the fine print.

Premiums are likely to keep going up even if the health care bill passes, experts say. If cost controls work as advertised, annual increases would level off with time. But don't look for a rollback. Instead, the main reason premiums would be more affordable is that new government tax credits would help millions of people who can't afford the cost now.
Obama asked his audience for a show of hands from people with employer-provided coverage, what most Americans have.
"Your employer, it's estimated, would see premiums fall by as much as 3,000 percent," said the president, "which means they could give you a raise."

A White House press spokesman later said the president misspoke; he had meant to say annual premiums would drop by $3,000.

It could be a long wait.

"There's no question premiums are still going to keep going up," said Larry Levitt of the Kaiser Family Foundation, a research clearinghouse on the health care system. "There are pieces of reform that will hopefully keep them from going up as fast. But it would be miraculous if premiums actually went down relative to where they are today."

The statistics Obama based his claims on come from two sources. In both cases, caveats got left out.
A report for the Business Roundtable, an association of big company CEOs, was the source for the claim that employers could save $3,000 per worker on health care costs, the White House said.

The budget office concluded that premiums for people buying their own coverage would go up by an average of 10 percent to 13 percent, compared with the levels they'd reach without the legislation. That's mainly because policies in the individual insurance market would provide more comprehensive benefits than they do today.

For most households, those added costs would be more than offset by the tax credits provided under the bill, and they would pay significantly less than they have to now. However, the budget office estimated that about 4 in 10 customers shopping for an individual policy would not be eligible for tax credits — and would face higher premiums on average than without the legislation.

The premium reduction of 14 percent to 20 percent that Obama often cites would apply only to a portion of the people buying coverage on their own — those who want to keep the skimpier kinds of policies available today.

Their costs would go down because more young people would be joining the risk pool and because insurance company overhead costs would be lower in the more efficient system Obama wants to create.

The president usually alludes to that distinction in his health care stump speech, saying the savings would accrue to those people who continue to buy "comparable" coverage to what they have today.

Obama Administration Ignoring Pro-Life Democrats in Health Care Reform Debate

Bart Stupak

When former community organizer, Barack Obama, was state senator from Illinois, he actually defended a bill that denied medical services to babies who were survivers of botched abortion attempts.

That’s how much this president doesn’t care about the sanctity of life. Some Pro-Life Democrats like Bart Stupak want to remove the language in Obama Care that provides federal funding of abortions.

However, Obama, Reid and Pelosi are so desperate to install government run health care that they are not considering Stupak’s concerns.

National Review Online reports:

Sitting in an airport, on his way home to Michigan, Rep. Bart Stupak, a pro-life Democrat, is chagrined.

“They’re ignoring me,” he says, in a phone interview with NATIONAL REVIEW ONLINE. “That’s their strategy now. The House Democratic leaders think they have the votes to pass the Senate’s health-care bill without us. At this point, there is no doubt that they’ve been able to peel off one or two of my twelve. And even if they don’t have the votes, it’s been made clear to us that they won’t insert our language on the abortion issue.”

According to Stupak, that group of twelve pro-life House Democrats — the “Stupak dozen” — has privately agreed for months to vote ‘no’ on the Senate’s health-care bill if federal funding for abortion is included in the final legislative language.

Now, in the debate’s final hours, Stupak says the other eleven are coming under “enormous” political pressure from both the White House and House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D., Calif.).

“I am a definite ‘no’ vote,” he says. “I didn’t cave. The others are having both of their arms twisted, and we’re all getting pounded by our traditional Democratic supporters, like unions.”

Stupak notes that his negotiations with House Democratic leaders in recent days have been revealing.

“I really believe that the Democratic leadership is simply unwilling to change its stance,” he says.

“Their position says that women, especially those without means available, should have their abortions covered.”
The arguments they have made to him in recent deliberations, he adds, “are a pretty sad commentary on the state of the Democratic party.”

Rash of Scandals Tests Democrats at Sensitive Time

When Nancy Pelosi said that her congress was going to be the most ethical congress in U.S. history it was a knock against all Republicans.

What have the American people gotten in return for this promise?

Answer- How about a group of tax cheats like Charles Rangel and his dubious colleagues in the Congressional Black Caucus with their creative ways of stealing taxpayer money through non-profits? Lets throw in Eric Massa, an undercover homo who can’t stop chasing male staffers. Is this the kind of ethics Nancy Pelosi was talking about?

The New York Times reports:

The ethical woes facing Democrats are piling up, with barely a day passing in recent weeks without headlines from Washington to New York and beyond filled with word of scandal or allegations of wrongdoing.

The troubles of Gov. David A. Paterson of New York, followed by those of two of the state’s congressmen, Charles B. Rangel and Eric J. Massa, have added to the ranks of episodes involving prominent Democrats like Eliot Spitzer, Rod R. Blagojevich and John Edwards.

Taken together, the cases have opened the party to the same lines of criticism that Democrats, led by Representatives Nancy Pelosi, now the House speaker, and Rahm Emanuel, now White House chief of staff, used effectively against Republicans in winning control of the House and Senate four years ago.

The mix of power and the temptations of corruption can be a compelling political narrative at any time. But with voters appearing to be in an angry mood and many already inclined to view all things Washington with mistrust, the risks for Democrats could be that much greater this year.

With Election Day still eight months away, there is time to avert a history-is-repeating-itself storyline. But Democrats, who are already on the defensive over the economy, health care and federal spending and are facing a re-energized conservative movement, suddenly have a set of ethical issues to deflect as well. “Speaker Pelosi famously promised the most open, honest and ethical Congress in history,” Representative John A. Boehner of Ohio, the Republican leader, said Thursday. “Yet here we go again.”

In 2006, when Democrats were battling for control of the House, the message of their campaign against the Republicans could be boiled down to a three-word slogan: culture of corruption. Democratic leaders aggressively seized on each indictment of a Republican member of Congress or lobbyist, building an argument that the controlling party had become arrogant and was in urgent need of a housecleaning.

So is that moment — in reverse fashion — now approaching for Democrats?

The S Opinion: Why Obama Used “Props” to Sell O Care

Funny how the president had no problems using “props” like doctors in lab coats when he’s trying to sell America on his outrageously expensive health care plan.

During, the so-called Health Care Summit when a Republican member of congress pulled out the 2,000 page health care reform bill, President Obama didn’t like it and called it a “prop”.

Lets set aside the president’s hypocrisy and get down to brass tax.

Obama and the Democrats wanted O Care passed swiftly LAST AUGUST.

And it didn’t happen only because of:
1. Town Hall Meetings
2. Talk Radio
3. The Blogosphere
4. Fox News

No where else was it possible to find out the actual details of the bill because CBS, ABC, NBC, CNN, and especially MSNBC were cheerleaders for the president’s plan without any examination of the cost to the country.

We have two types of people in America:

1. The Informed
2. The Uninformed

The president’s base of support depends heavily, 99.9% on the uninformed group which is why you saw the “lab coats:” behind the president yesterday to send a subliminal message to the great “uninformed” that if doctors are behind President Obama, it must be a good idea.

“Now lets go watch American Idol and continue in our ignorance.”

O knows how to deceive!

Pelosi: Lawmakers Should Sacrifice Jobs for Health Care

Nothing like being told to walk the plank from a lady who spends $ 1000 bucks a week of taxpayer money on the finest booze and food when she flies between D.C. and San Francisco.

What does she care?

The voters in her district have “legal” pot shops on every corner. But, the weed being sold are strictly for medicinal purposes.

Do you really think Pelosi in in danger of losing her seat when everybody is too stoned to notice what a clown she is?

Fox News reports:

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi urged her colleagues to back a major overhaul of U.S. health care even if it threatens their political careers, a call to arms that underscores the issue's massive role in this election year.

Lawmakers sometimes must enact policies that, even if unpopular at the moment, will help the public, Pelosi said in an interview being broadcast Sunday the ABC News program "This Week."

"We're not here just to self-perpetuate our service in Congress," she said. "We're here to do the job for the American people."

Pelosi, from San Francisco, is more liberal than scores of her Democratic colleagues. But she generally walks a careful line between urging them to back left-of-center policies and giving them a green light to buck party leaders to improve their re-election hopes.

"Time is up," she said. "We really have to go forth."

OBAMA & DEMS IN ‘05: 51 VOTE ‘NUCLEAR OPTION’ IS ‘ARROGANT’ POWER GRAB AGAINST THE FOUNDERS’ INTENT

Democrats Go Nuclear in 60 Days to Pass ObamaCare

Those pesky Democrats in the senate, at least the ones who haven’t announced their retirement, are choosing to pass ObamaCare by using the Nuclear Option, also known as reconciliation whereby only a simple majority of 51 votes gets the bill passed.

This is a very audacious move by the Dems who insist on passing a healthcare reform plan that will lead to inadequate care at the hands of an administration that loves to spend your money.

The Hill reports:

The move would allow Democrats to essentially go it alone on health reform, especially after losing their filibuter-proof majority in the Senate after Sen. Scott Brown's (R) special election victory in Massachusetts.

Republicans have protested the maneuver as a hyperpartisan tactic to ram through a health bill, and have said that plans to use the reconciliation process make moot a bipartisan summit at the White House this week, where both GOP and Democratic leaders are supposed to present their ideas on healthcare.

Obama Turns to Plouffe

What world is Obama living in?

There’s an old saying, “dance with the one who brung ya’”

That’s exactly what President Barack Obama has decided to do by reaching out to his former campaign manger, David Plouffe, as a special guru/advisor/hand holder to pick up the pieces of an presidential agenda in shambles.

Plouffe, who is Obama’s version of Karl Rove, has undeniable talent that took, dare I say it, a community organizer from the Southside of Chicago through a head to head battle with the Clinton War machine and won Democrat the nomination.

Who knew?

So, Obama is feeling kind of feisty according to special adviser David Axelrod, the other David, and can’t wait to engage in battle to recover from his worst week in the White House, speeding up his schedule for engaging in the 2010 political races and planning to use his State of the Union address on Wednesday to show the public a feisty side.

The president wants Pouffe to oversee House, Senate and governor’s races to stave off a hemorrhage of seats in the fall.

The president’s leading pollster, Joel Benenson, will be among those conducting research for Mr. Plouffe, aides said, along with others who will divide the country by regions.

It’s the 2008 campaign all over again!

But, there is a great flaw with this strategy that the Obama administration to this day fails to understand. There is a huge difference between running for president, which Obama actually knows how to do, and governing as president, which Obama has painfully demonstrated day in and day out despite the media’s fawning, that he does not know how to manage.

Plouffe magic does not apply to man who has never ran a business, never ran a state or a city as a chief executive and it shows. So, for the rest of the year until the midterm elections, President Obama will become Candiate Obama all over again.

That dog won’t hunt!

Health Care Bill to Pass in 30 Days or Less

In politics there are things said for the public to hear, but it’s a totally different story behind closed doors.

As recently as a few days ago, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi said with a straight face that there weren’t enough votes in the House to pass the senate version of ObamaCare.

What great news for the voters of Massachusetts and the rest of the country who celebrated the recent election of Scott Brown who ran on a promise to be the 41st vote against Health Care reform and who Obama says was voted into office out of public anger.

However, if you think that President Barack Obama and his far Left Liberal base in congress are going to stop cold with their pursuit of their wildly expensive Health Care reform bill, think again.

TPM Video

These are Democrats!

Nationalized Health Care has been a Liberal wet dream since the days of Theodore Roosevelt. But, maybe you might think that Democrats might slow it down and listen to the American people for a change.

Fat chance!

That’s just as likely as 24/7 coverage on C-SPAN of the meetings behind closed doors between Pelosi and Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid figuring out how exactly they can do the nasty do--passing health care.

However, congressman Alan Grayson, the lovable loon of the House of Representatives, who wanted A.G. Eric Holder to prosecute the creator of a parody website, My Congressman Is Nuts.com, may have let the cat out the bag of whats happening in the shadows of congress on Hard Ball with Chris Matthews:

Joe Lieberman Close to Endorsing Conservative Scott Brown for Senate

It seems that Democrat Joe Lieberman is sticking his finger in the air and noticing the winds of discontent are blowing strong in Massachusetts.

In the bluest of blue states where disgruntled colonists threw boxes of tea into Boston Harbor in 1773 in protest of outrageous taxes imposed by the King of England, that same spirit of patriotism and dissent is welling up in the 2010 special election between Democrat Martha Coakley and Republican Scott Brown.

What makes this choice so stunning is that Massachusetts is a Democrat stronghold where registered Democrats out number Republicans 3 to 1. The fact that this race is so close and in one poll Brown has a lead over Coakley tells you one thing.

President Barack Obama’s push to pass a Health Care reform bill that a majority of Americans don’t want has caused the people of Massachusetts to recoil.

Senate minority leader Mitch McConnell recently said that Health Care reform will be a toxic issue for Democrats not only in 2010, but also 2012 as the Democrat party continues to push for a European-style socialized medical care system that has failed everywhere it’s been tried.

As we enter the last 48 hours of the campaign, the people of Massachusetts are getting ready to relive their ancestral past and send a very clear message to Washington and the rest of the world.

Enough is enough!

Scott Brown Getting Support From SEIU Members

American Spectator

WORCESTER, Mass. - Supporters of Republican Scott Brown lined the sides of a street here outside a Democratic rally at Worcester Polytechnic Institute where former President Bill Clinton came to campaign for Martha Coakley.

More than 75 boosters of the GOP candidate turned out for the counter-rally, standing the sub-freezing weather to wave Brown signs and loudly sing (to the tune of "Battle Hymn of the Republic"), "Glory, Hallelujah . . . Send Scott Brown to D.C.!"

Among the Brown supporters were - believe it or not - rank-and-file members of the Service Employees International Union.

"We're Americans - we have our free choice," said one of the SEIU members, who identified herself only as Michelle and said she drove more than 60 miles from Western Massachusetts - "The stepchild of this state" - to show her support for Brown in Worcester.

Not only is Michelle a Brown supporter, but she's also a Tea Party activist who rode 10 hours on a bus to attend last year's 9/12 March on D.C. "I didn't like the slide into socialism," she explained.

Michelle is aware of the importance of Tuesday's election.
"I feel like we're here . . . not just voting for us," she said. "We are casting our vote for the rest of America."

GO SCOTT GO!!!

Opps SEIU ad against Scott Brown that makes the case why voters SHOULD vote for him!

Rachel Maddow Sinks to a New Low: Ridiculing Christians at Prayer

You know I think it’s disgusting that Rachel Maddow (The Karate Kid) used footage of Christians engaged in prayer to base her political commentary.

They (Liberals) really have no limit to the depths that they are willing to sink to inform the mindless dolts who follow them in the first place.

However, on further reflection, I cannot totally put blame on Leftist like Maddow, or Chris Matthews or even Keith Olberman for they do not know what they do.

Several years ago, Ann Coulter wrote a terrific book entitled, Godless, in which the Left went ballistic over a single chapter dealing with the so-called 911 widows.

However, the overall premises of the book, namely that Liberals are ungodly folks who pay only lip service to a belief in one true God. And when they do, its really for appearance sake so they can continue living lives of moral relativism which actually means by no morality except for standards they make up as they go along.

You know, things like climate change or closing Gitmo.

They didn’t give a hoot that Coulter was labeling them as “Godless” because she had them pegged for what they truly are.

And they didn’t care enough or knew enough to be offended. Ironically, this from a people that never miss an opportunity to be offended by anything.

So, on a certain level, I can’t hold the ignorant responsible for something that they’re totally ignorant about, such as the power of prayer.

However, I will say that Maddow has surpassed even Harry Reid’s slavery comments by offering a critique of prayers to score cheap and loathsome political points.

Nonetheless, ridicule is the only method Maddow employs on a regular basis which would explain her miniscule ratings.

But, if by some strange miracle, Rachel Maddow comes across this blog, let me say this.

Prayer is how we Christians have a conversation with God. We believe in a Creator God with all our hearts. We are not ashamed of this despite that amount of times you may show footage on MSNBC of Christians praying in Jesus name. In fact, we’ll even pray for you, Rachel Maddow, because no one is beyond Christ's redemptive power—not even godless Liberals.

Prediction Comes True: Dems Pull Race Card to Sell Health Care

As I predicted exactly two weeks ago, Harry Reid pulled the Race Card to push ObamaCare.

Of course true to past preactice Harry misrepresent the history of his own party in which they were the original enslavers of Black people and it was the Democrats themselves who dragged their feet to free the slaves in the 19th century, and again 1964 Civil Rights Act.

The problem here is the GOP lacks the guts to set the record straight. Maybe Sarah Palin has the balls to say what needs to be said?
