Strip Club entrepreneur Monique Dawson upset civic leaders in the Bronx denied opening of wiggle and juggle joint at Hunts Point

It’s really amazing that Monique Dawson is outraged as to why she can’t open a strip club at Hunts Pont in the Bronx. For those not familiar with New York, Hunts Point used to be a notorious prostitution area back in the day.
So I don’t blame civic leaders in the Bronx for not wanting another stripper pole center in the area.

The New York Post asks, Don't these Bronx boobs want jobs?

That's the question a steamed strip-club-owner wannabe is asking after civic leaders in the city's most unemployed borough prudishly attacked her dreams of building a jiggle joint in Hunts Point.

"How are you interfering with people eating?" fumed
Monique Dawson, whose King of Clubs strip club on Oak Point Avenue would provide 50 jobs paying $30 to $50 an hour.

She said she was shocked when she tried to run her plan for the club up the stripper pole and no one saluted.

"To be met with this type of opposition in this day and age and in this economic downturn that we're having is really crazy."
"These are not the jobs we are looking to bring to the community," said Assemblyman Marcos Crespo, who went on to say dancers and other strip-club employees "have every right to work and do what they do, and I am not condemning them for that."
